Andy concentrates his practice on tort litigation,
representing consumers and plaintiffs. He has been involved in cases
such as the McColl Hazardous Wastesite litigation, where he and
his firm represented approximately 120 families who purchased homes
surrounding an abandoned World War II petroleum dumpsite. That litigation
resulted in a recovery in excess of $10 million for his clients.
He also received an Outstanding Trial Lawyers Award from the Consumer
Attorneys of San Diego for the work he did on behalf of his client,
an injured patient, against Kaiser Permanente in a medical malpractice
case. He obtained a $2.1 million award for the client.
Prior to forming Boudreau Albert & Wohlfeil in
2001, Andy was an attorney with firms in Los Angeles and San Diego
including Hillsinger & Costanzo; Matz Brody & Albert; Berlin
& Albert; Higgs, Fletcher & Mack; and Albert & Wohlfeil
LLP.
Andy has served as a lecturer and demonstrator for
San Diego Inn of Court, San Diego County Bar Association, Consumer
Attorneys of San Diego, Consumer Attorneys of California, CEB and
American Bar Association. In addition, he is a past chairman of
the Plaintiffs Personal Injury Section of the Bar Association of
Northern San Diego County as well as a past Director and President
of the San Diego Inn of Court. He has also served as a Judge Pro
Tem in the San Diego Superior Court.
